Day 1: Bay Area - Las Vegas

We will depart the Bay Area in the morning and drive to Las Vegas. Along the way, you will see dramatic changes in sceneries from coastal ranges to Central Valley and into the Mojave desert. We will drive through fertile farmland, see the largest windmill farm in California and pass by Edward Air Force Base where the space shuttles used to land on several occasions and where the sound barrier was broken from the first time in history. We will reach Las Vegas in the evening and check into the hotel upon arrival. Tonight will be to your leisure. Immerse yourself in the castle themed resort right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip or head down the Strip and visit many other world famous themed hotels.

Day 2: Mandatory: The Fire Wave - Old Town Las Vegas

In the morning, we will head north and visit the Valley of Fire. We must of landed on Mars? Not quite, but from the out of this world imagery comes red sandstones rising out of the inferno desert and from heat waves to the real ‘fire wave’, let’s hike and explore this unbelievable landscape together. As we delve deeper into the valley we will also hike the White Domes Trail and into the mystical red colored slot canyon with its walls punctured by the rain waters of time. We will continue to visit a unique rock formation known as Elephant rock natural arch before departing the valley. On the way back, we’ll make a stop in old town Las Vegas—the birth place and original gambling district of Las Vegas. It remains the beating heart of the famous gaming and resorts mecca in old western style.

Day 3: Choose one: Grand Canyon West/South/Antelope Canyon

Option 1: Grand Canyon West Rim (Admission & Fuel surcharge): $80 per person
Depart Las Vegas in the morning and travel to Grand Canyon West. We will enter the Hualapai Indian Reservation to reach Grand Canyon West. You will have a chance to walk along the rim of this great wonder of nature. You may also experience and walk on the Skywalk (admission excluded). This U-shaped platform extends 70ft over the canyon edge and about 4,000 feet over the floor. You may also elect to take a helicopter flight into the Grand Canyon & cruise along the Colorado River aboard a pontoon boat (Optional).

Option 2: Grand Canyon South Rim (Admission & Fuel surcharge) $80 per person
We will depart Las Vegas in the morning and head towards the Grand Canyon. One of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon offers breathtaking views and beauty beyond imagination. It measures 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and 1 mile deep. At Mather point, you will contemplate with awe the stunning panoramic view of the Canyon. At Bright Angel point, you will be impressed by the sheer canyon wall representing 2 billion years’ geological history. The famous Hopi house, modeled after a traditional Hopi pueblo and built with local stones, is standing on the rim and blends well into the scenery. On the way back, we will drive through Seligman, one of the best preserved sections of Route 66. Known as the Main Street of America and Mother Road, you’ll get a feel for the good old days, and “get your kicks on Route 66”. We will return to Las Vegas in the evening

Option 3: (A): Upper Antelope Canyon + Horseshoe Bend (Admission & Fuel surcharge) $165 per person

(B): Lower Antelope Canyon + Horseshoe Bend (Admission & Fuel surcharge) $145 per person

Experience an unforgettable journey to Antelope Canyon, and take in its beauty as you walk in. The canyon is known as a slot canyon in which rainwater, especially during monsoon season, runs into the extensive basin above the slot canyon sections, as the water rushes into the narrow passageways, over time the passageways are eroded away, making the corridors deeper and into what you would experience today. The Canyon walls photographed during the mid-morning sun creates a myriad of colors from the natural light shooting through the canyon. Afterwards we will visit Horseshoe bend, a natural horseshoe shape deep canyon incised by the mighty Colorado River. After the visit, we will return to Las Vegas

Day 4: Las Vegas - Bay Area

In the morning, depart Las Vegas towards San Francisco. We will travel by the world’s largest solar power plant with 340,000 solar panels planted into the vast sea of sand. While crossing the Mojave Desert, you will see Edwards Air Force Base at the distance, where the sound barrier was broken for the first time in history and where US space shuttles landed on several occasions. Looking up at the sky, you might perhaps catch a glimpse of U.S. newest aircraft on training mission. Then you will pass by California’s largest windmill farm on Tehachapi Mountain. In the afternoon, you will travel through the fertile Central Valley. Arrive in the Bay Area in the evening.

– For tour passengers who would like to have a transfer service from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, service fee is $35 per person.

* Hotel rooms are typically designed and equipped for two travelers. They usually feature a queen- or king-sized bed or two double beds, which are meant to provide adequate comfort for two travelers.
* 3rd person, 4th person or child must share with the 1st & 2nd travelers in the same room (2 double beds). Extra beds, extra items and services (such as extra toiletries and towels) will not be provided.
