I was with Lassen tours for 2 trips and the experience was awesome! Their brand was recommended by one of my colleagues who was with them before. And it turned out to be an excellence choice.
Friendly booking: I was happened to be in San Francisco just during the ORACLE annual conference there. You can easily imagine how difficult to book a hotel during the peak season. Judy and Carol had been very careful to reserve hotel for me even on last minute.
First tour (17W2). It was 2 Days package tour to include 17 Miles Scenic Drive, Carmel, Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf, Roaring Camp, Steam Train & Gilroy Premium Outlet. By the way, I highly recommend to book the tour directly with Lassens tour at below website http://www.lassentours.c…; because other passengers shared their bad experience with other agents which overly charged the tour price. The first day trip wass to cover 17miles scenic drive and Santa CruzMunicipal Wharf. The tour guide had been very patient and flexible with differnt passengerss request, pick up from hotel was also on time. Due to the peak season, I could see many passengers were staying in different hotels, however, the driver had been on good track to pick up without any trouble. The trip was interesting and engaging since it was not a very big tour. On the second day, again, tour guide picked up on time. And Judy had been very responsible, who called the tour guide just to make sure he had picked me up since I was alone for this trip and was staying in a new hotel in San Jose.
Second tour (GWL4) 4 Days Yosemite, Las Vegas & Grand Canyon West - The Skywalk. This trip was very drama. Just on the day of departure from hotel, the breaking news was released that US government closed all national parks to cut cost. My goodness! both Yosemite and Grand Canyon are both national parks. What should I do? Lassens tour had been very professional and the tour guide Mike was very calm and cool. He came to the hotel and explained to us with patience that the route had been changed due to this unexpected issue, and actually Lassen tour also offered the flexiblity to change the travel date. However, I was in US for a short stay and just followed the tour. No regret at all! The trip was very impressed! During the visit, tour guide had given us sufficient time to look around and take pictures. With his explanation about history, culture and tips, we all had an enjoyable trip for the 4 days.
I am planning a trip with my family to US soon early next year and without hesitation, I contact Judy and Carol again for the tour. I am pretty sure that my family will find it worthwhile and an awesome experience
